Dès l’enfance, Brig se passionne pour le dessin, ayant pour objectif une carrière d’architecte.
Adolescente, cette passion se concrétise par le tracé du plan façade d’une maison, qui sera repris et exécuté à Montfort l’Amaury. Mais ses études la dirigeront très vite vers une carrière internationale.

L’environnement, pour le monde de demain, a été sa préoccupation principale durant sa vie professionnelle. Elle se lance dans une brillante carrière de femme d’affaires dans le domaine scientifique en créant la société ECOMESURE spécialisée l’étude de la qualité de l’air, avec pour slogan Respirez nous mesurons.

Ses actions sont récompensées par sa nomination au grade de Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite. Or, elle ne cessera jamais de dessiner et de visiter de nombreuses expositions. La peinture, qui pour elle était une évasion, devient un besoin d’expression.

En 2010, Brig Finucci participe au lancement du Village d’Inspiration des Peintres à Saint Trojan les Bains, une façon de redonner des couleurs aux cabanes ostréicoles, en alliant l’art pictural et la sauvegarde de l’environnement.
Ainsi elle se perfectionne et expose dans son atelier sur l’eau, NaturEToile, à Saint Trojan les Bains – île d’Oléron.

Et c’est en 2013, que Brig aura le courage de céder son entreprise en plein essor, non sans une certaine nostalgie, pour retourner à ses premières amours. Forte d’une expérience enseignée par une vie professionnelle sans concession, l’artiste en devenir s’appuiera sur les bases d’une partition très rigoureuse.

Brig Finucci se lance alors sur un cycle d’expositions artistiques de renommée internationale et en 2014, recevra la médaille d’argent de la Société Académique des Arts, Sciences, Lettres de Paris.

La plupart de ses toiles empreintes de douceur, expriment figuratif et réalisme. Mais à présent une nouvelle approche de l’abstrait l’attire. Entre huile et acrylique, elle utilise pinceaux, mains, doigts ou encore des morceaux de tissus pour le contrôle de la peinture. Elle aime travailler au couteau afin de créer des textures et sculpter la lumière. Chaque toile est pour elle une nouvelle expérience, un nouveau défi.

« Peu importe le langage : figuratif, abstrait, semi abstrait, peindre, c’est mettre de la couleur à ma vie selon ma sensibilité de l’instant » dit-elle.

Elle a exposé à plusieurs reprises au Carrousel du Louvre avec la Société Nationale des Beaux Arts, au Grand Palais à Paris à l'occasion de ART CAPITALE, à New York aux USA, Saint Pétersbourg avec la SAI Salon d'Automne International, ARTS ATLANTIC à La Rochelle, en solo en Province.

From childhood, Brig has been fond of drawing, at an early stage considering a career as an architect. As a teenager her interest in technical drawings moved her to produce detailed front elevations of Montfort l’Amaury as part of an initial exploration to find a style on her way to studies that led her towards an international artistic career.
​
The environment, for the world of tomorrow, was her primary concern throughout her professional life. Great career success came to her as a business woman in the scientific world establishing her own business ECOMESURE specializing in the study of air quality, with the slogan “Breathe we measure”.
​
Her achievements have been recognised by her appointment to the rank of Knight of the National Order of Merit.
​
Art is the focal motivation of her life, she never stops drawing and painting as well as visiting exhibitions, it is an escape as well as a means of expression.
​
In 2010, Brig Finucci participated in the launching of the Inspiration Village of Painters in Saint Trojan les Bains, to restore colour to the oyster huts, combining pictorial art and preserving the ambiance of a historical site. This is the way she improves and outlines in her studio on the water, NaturEToile in Saint Trojan les Bains – Oléron Island.

Brig continued her involvement with the business until 2013 when she decided to sell up her interests in what proved to be a highly successful business concern. This step left her free to return to her first love with the experience gained from a professional life without compromises, becoming an artist who will develop on diverse, multi faceted foundations.
​
Brig Finucci embarked on an internationally renowned cycle of art exhibitions and in 2014, received the silver medal of the Academic Society of Arts, sciences and Letters from Paris.
​
So far most of her paintings, reflecting a gentle way of life, express representational and realism. But she is now moving towards to the abstract. Between oil and acrylic, she uses brushes, hands, fingers or even pieces of fabric to express herself in a painting. To create additional texture and depth [sculpting light] to her work she often uses a pallet knife. She approaches each painting as a new experience, a new challenge.

« No matter the language: figurative, abstract, semi abstract, painting to me is putting colour into my life according to my mood at that very moment » she said.
​
Her works have been shown several times at exhibitions at the Carrousel du Louvre with the Société Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris, at New York Art Expo as well as holding her own exhibitions in the provinces.
​
Her plans for 2015 include exhibiting at the Spectrum in Miami, Constantine Palace in St. Petersburg, ART MONACO and THUILLIER ART Gallery in Paris in July, TEL AVIV – JAFFA in Israel in November, selection by the SAI France Russia and an exhibition on The Cry of the Sirens moored at the Concorde Atlantic in front of the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, etc.
